Fresno, California
California provides much of the US with its food. It produces a wide range of crops on a very large scale. One farm of 5000 acres grew 26 different crop types which ranged from tomatoes, carrots, onions, cotton, olives, grapes, lettuce. The scale and diversity is incredible. Although it does not rain from now until October the wells provide the water to produce high quality produce. An amazing valley surrounded by snow topped mountains.
